The Hall of Records is the smallest of four buildings on the courthouse site. In October of 2003, we began an interior "period" rehabilitation of the Hall of Records. The project includes the restoration of the 44 foot diameter skylight, installation of a geothermal ground source field to heat and cool the building and the fabrication of "period" furniture. Also included is the upgrading of ADA features, like: an elevator and restrooms. For information regarding this project, you can contact the County Architect

Vertical Bores Completed!!

March 12, 2004

The project bids farewell to the Bertram Crew: Glenn and George the drill operators. Kevin, Tony and Kenny, rig hands and Devon a rig hand in training. Thanks gentlemen! The people of Santa Barbara appreciate your very hard work installing the vertical bore field at the Historic County Courthouse.
