The Hall of Records is the smallest of four buildings on the courthouse site. In October of 2003, we began an interior "period" rehabilitation of the Hall of Records. The project includes the restoration of the 44 foot diameter skylight, installation of a geothermal ground source field to heat and cool the building and the fabrication of "period" furniture. Also included is the upgrading of ADA features, like: an elevator and restrooms. For information regarding this project, you can contact the County Architect.

The large diameter roof section is the historic skylight---this will be restored.

In December 2003, a section of roof was removed to investigate the skylight support frame. Turns out that the frame is in great shape. The roof had not been attached to the copper skylight frame.
